CFP Watch Studio — Service & Warranty

1-Year CFP Watch Studio Warranty

Every watch restored, reassembled or customized by CFP Watch Studio is supplied with our own workshop invoice and CFP guarantee card.

Unless otherwise stated in the individual product description, we provide a 1-year independent workshop warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers the correct mechanical function of the watch under normal use, including movement performance, regulation issues and assembly-related defects caused by our restoration or reassembly work.

What Is Covered

Our warranty covers:

mechanical movement function;
regulation and timekeeping issues under normal use;
assembly-related defects;
defects directly related to our restoration or reassembly work.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

accidental damage;
damage caused by shock, dropping or impact;
water damage, unless water resistance was specifically confirmed in writing for the individual watch;
damage caused by magnetic exposure;
damage caused by third-party service, repair or opening of the watch;
normal wear of straps, buckles, crystals, coatings or cosmetic finishing;
cosmetic ageing of restored, refinished or previously used components.

Water Resistance

Unless specifically stated in the individual product description, original factory water-resistance specifications are not guaranteed.

Many CFP Watch Studio restored watches may be suitable for normal everyday water exposure, including hand washing, rain, light swimming or occasional shallow-water use, provided that the watch has passed our basic water-resistance check before delivery.

However, restored or customized watches should not be considered professional diving instruments unless this is clearly confirmed in writing for a specific watch.

We do not recommend using restored or customized watches for professional diving, deep diving, sauna, hot showers, strong water pressure, or prolonged underwater use.

In simple terms: some of our watches may be suitable for swimming or shallow-water use, but they are not guaranteed to meet the original factory depth-rating or professional diving standards unless this is specifically stated in the individual listing.

Independent Service

CFP Watch Studio is an independent restoration and reassembly workshop. We are not an official service center and we are not affiliated with Panerai or any other watch manufacturer.

Because some watches may include restored, replaced, refinished or CFP-produced components, the original manufacturer may refuse service.

In such cases, future servicing can be handled by CFP Watch Studio or by an independent watchmaker familiar with ETA / Unitas 6497-based movements and similar mechanical calibers.

Component Disclosure

Each watch is described individually.

Where applicable, the product description may include original, restored, replaced, aftermarket or CFP-produced components.

Our goal is transparent disclosure, reliable mechanical performance and professional restoration — not presenting restored or reassembled watches as fully original factory-assembled watches.
